Dual-station welding for parking-system steel components

The haibao robot parking structure welding cell combines robotic welding with dedicated fixtures and workpiece positioning. The Shanghai Cibao reference application uses a dual-station arrangement for components of mechanical parking systems.

Manual loading with automatic robot welding

Operators load and unload the components and locate them in the tooling. The robot then follows the program for the selected part. The reference layout uses pneumatic turning positioners to present the joints for welding.

Separate the fixture and program for each part

Different components use appropriate tooling and corresponding welding programs. A defined changeover process helps operators select the correct fixture and program when moving between products.

Expand around a known component family

The reference design describes the ability to introduce additional products by adding suitable fixtures. A new part still requires an assessment of reach, weld access, clamping and the safe operating sequence before it is included in production.

What should the buyer provide?

Send drawings of the beams, rails or other parking-system components, including weld symbols and tolerances. The machine proposal should state the loading method, station layout, positioning scope and model-changeover requirements.
