A highly automated vessel factory needs more than a fast welding machine. haibao robot’s production-line concept connects cutting and bevel preparation, head openings, fit-up, welding, material handling and production data around a defined product family.
The proposed front end combines plasma or laser cutting with head and shell opening equipment. Robotic opening cells use part geometry and positioning to establish the cutting path. Fit-up systems then locate and clamp shells, heads or tube sheets so that the welding stage receives a controlled joint.
Longitudinal seams, circumferential seams, nozzles and half-pipe jackets need different motion and torch arrangements. The concept includes plasma–TIG systems, nozzle welding robots, automatic seam welders and twin-torch jacket welders. Tracking options and fixtures are selected for the expected fit-up variation and joint requirements.
Turning rolls, positioners, transfer equipment and, where suitable, automated guided vehicles can reduce repeated crane moves. Their capacities and operating zones must be planned around the heaviest workpiece, safe access and the actual process route.
Production-system integration can support scheduling, equipment status, energy information and quality traceability. Start with the data the factory needs to make decisions, then define interfaces and record ownership. Monitoring a machine is different from automatically controlling an entire production line.
Establish the current bottleneck, validate one representative part family and set acceptance measures before extending the scope. A practical roadmap may begin with a single cutting or welding cell and add handling and data integration later. The level of unattended operation depends on material supply, inspection, tool changes and reliable recovery from faults.
Send your product mix, annual volume, vessel size range, material and thickness range, workshop layout and current process times. We will review a staged line concept with equipment interfaces and trial priorities.
