Automated welding for stainless steel vessel production

haibao robot provides application-based welding automation for stainless steel tanks and vessel shells. The reference installation for Wuxi Huali Juneng illustrates a tank-fabrication application involving longitudinal and circumferential seams.

Choose the process around the vessel joint

TIG, deep-penetration TIG and combined plasma-TIG routes are evaluated according to material, thickness, fit-up and weld access. The reference application includes 304 and 316L stainless steel. Procedure trials are needed to establish the suitable process window for a new component.

Coordinate travel and workpiece rotation

Longitudinal and circumferential seams require different motion and support arrangements. A project layout should define torch positioning, tank support, loading access and the control sequence for each seam type.

Build quality requirements into the proposal

Specify required weld inspection, corrosion-service conditions and applicable fabrication requirements at the start. Machine selection supports production, while procedure qualification and final vessel acceptance remain part of the agreed fabrication plan.

What data is needed for selection?

Provide the full tank drawing, shell and head materials, thickness range, seam lengths and target output. The exact robot or manipulator arrangement, tracking options and welding package are confirmed in the proposed scope rather than inferred from a single reference photograph.
