haibao robot · CUSTOMER APPLICATION
Wuxi Huali Juneng Equipment selected a haibao robot welding solution for stainless steel tanks and pressure vessel fabrication. The application covers longitudinal and circumferential seams, with positioning and control matched to the vessel geometry.
Larger stainless tanks and a wider mix of vessel specifications create competing demands: repeatable penetration, controlled distortion, reliable fit-up and shorter production cycles. Automation needs to address the joint and handling method together.
The published project describes a six-axis TIG welding robot, positioning equipment and an integrated control system. Head-and-tailstock positioners and rotators present the workpiece to the torch, while seam location and tracking support repeatable paths. Process settings are selected for material, thickness and joint design.
The source discusses deep-penetration TIG for suitable stainless joints and P+T, or plasma-plus-TIG, for other thickness and production requirements. These processes should be selected through representative trials. A thickness range quoted for one joint preparation cannot be assumed to apply to every tank, material or welding position.
The project account reports shorter welding cycles, more consistent inspection outcomes and reduced rework after automation. For an overseas project, haibao robot evaluates the buyer’s own drawings, quality criteria and production records before proposing cycle-time or cost targets.
Review edge preparation, joint gap, alignment, shielding and interpass control as part of the welding procedure. Use agreed inspection methods to confirm the result. Automation helps reproduce a validated process, while finished-vessel acceptance remains tied to the applicable design and manufacturing requirements.
Send tank and nozzle drawings, stainless grade, thickness range, maximum vessel size, required surface finish, inspection criteria and annual output.
