Authorized application reference images. Equipment configuration and performance must be confirmed for the intended workpiece.
Dished heads need openings that match the nozzle orientation and the downstream welding joint. Manual marking and cutting can introduce variation in hole position, edge shape and preparation time. A programmed cutting cell brings these operations into one defined coordinate system.
The authorized application reference combines a multi-axis robot with a cutting head and workpiece support. CAD-based offline programming generates paths for projected holes, surface-normal holes and suitable bevel features. Large heads may require a gantry or external travel axis to maintain access across the cutting envelope.
Laser and plasma are alternative process packages, not interchangeable torch settings. Selection depends on material, thickness, edge finish, hole geometry and the subsequent welding procedure. The source reference describes high-power options; final capacity must be established for the specific material and configuration.
Provide the head profile, diameter, depth, wall thickness and nozzle drawings. Include edge tolerances, bevel angles, required output and loading arrangements. A representative trial should check both the opening geometry and the fit-up of the nozzle.
Send a 3D model or dimensioned drawing, material specification, production volume and acceptance criteria. Ask for a configuration review and a sample-cutting plan before finalizing the machine scope.
