Products with curved features

Extractor hood components, appliance panels and bathroom tubing combine visible surfaces with functional openings. Once a component has been formed or bent, a flatbed cutting process may not provide the required access.

Program the contour around the component

The authorized application uses three-dimensional fiber laser cutting for suitable metal parts. Dedicated fixtures establish repeatable datums, and robot or machine motion keeps the cutting head aligned with the local contour. Different product families may need different fixtures and process settings.

Design for appearance and assembly

Specify the cut-edge condition, acceptable discoloration, hole fit and any polishing or welding that follows. A visually acceptable sample is not automatically dimensionally compliant, so both appearance and measurements belong in the acceptance plan.

Make product changes manageable

A CAD-based workflow can simplify path changes, but fixture access and collision checks still need review for every new shape. Send haibao robot drawings, photos, material thickness and batch sizes to evaluate a flexible cell for the intended product range.
